Civic infrastructure for the way professionals give.

I am building CitizenSutra, a platform for successful professionals to commit to recurring contributions toward underfunded work in global health and development. Before this, I worked in public health, rural development, and digital payments. I care about how capital and attention actually reach the places that need them.

About

The through-line is public good, and how it travels.

I am the founder of CitizenSutra, where we are building infrastructure for civic giving. The idea is simple to state and hard to do well. Successful professionals, in India and across the diaspora, commit to a recurring contribution toward underfunded work in global health and development. We call that a CitizenSIP. The aim is not one more donation portal. It is a durable coalition with the continuity, and the standing, to shape where priorities go.

Before this, I spent years close to the places where public systems either work or fail. I built merchant payments at Axis Bank through the demonetization era. I worked on water and sanitation with Gram Vikas. I helped run a district Covid response in Garhwa. I studied health financing at the University of Washington. The question underneath all of it stayed the same. How does money meant for public good actually reach people, and what gets lost on the way.

CitizenSutra is a synthesis of my lived experiences. It is my attempt at an answer that holds up at scale.
